How to Make a Paper Ninja Star
Ninja paper stars are one the most basic steps towards orgami foldings. And today, I am going to tell you how to make one. First things first before I teach you how to make a paper ninja star. You must choose the type of paper you want. There are usually only two kinds, and I only reccommend these kinds. One, construction paper, and two, origami paper. The construction paper will make a strong paper ninja star that will last a while, and will also fly very smoothly. Origami paper, which I suggest for all you beginners, is easier to fold and crease so that your ninja paper star looks nicely finished.
The first step before the first step is for all construction paper folders… To make a strong paper ninja star, you need to have your piece of paper square. To do this all you must do is fold the top left corner of the paper down until it reaches and fits the right side of the paper perfectly. Here is a picture demonstrating this step…
Now cut the paper so you only have a triangle. Unfold the paper, and you now have a square!
Now we can get started on how to make a paper ninja star. Fold the square piece of paper in half so it makes a rectangle. Now cut it along the crease so you now have two pieces of rectangle paper. Here is a illustrated demonstration.
Now fold both of the rectangles in half again so they make thinner rectangles. Next just fold them in half downwards like this…
You are now one step closer to making a ninja paper star.
This part is tricky. Take one of the rectangles and fold the right side up, and then the left side down. Now take the other rectangle and do the exact opposite for your ninja paper star. Right side down, left side up. The papers should now look like this…
Now see the edges on the paper? fold them diagonally so there are points for the ninja paper star like this…
You are almost done learning how to make a paper ninja star. You are now going to fold the corners in so the papers make a diamond shape. This is the main shape for your ninja paper star. You should have these two diagonal pieces now…
Put those two diamonds together now like the image below…
Finally fold the corners into the little flaps of the ninja star shaped papers. Make sure you put in all the flaps on both sides of the ninja paper star. Once you have done that, you have accomplished learning how to make a paper ninja star… Congradulations!!!
